Festive Friday Farm Walk

Explore Honeydale Farm on an inspiring and informative guided farm walk, led by Founder, Ian Wilkinson or a member of the FarmED team. 

You’ll visit the meadows, heritage orchard, kitchen garden, natural flood management and other areas and hear about all that’s been going on at the farm. There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and find out about everything from regenerative agriculture and sustainable food, to micro dairies and growing heritage wheat for artisan bread making. 

At the end of the walk there’ll be a delicious, nutritious, and festive lunch freshly prepared in the FarmED kitchen. Please see our festive menu below:

Fairspear Hill Farm Norfolk Bronze turkey, Paddock Farm Pigs in blankets or Stuffed winter squash

Our producers:

Kitchen Garden People - all of the vegetables have been grown lovingly on-site by the Kitchen Garden People and their volunteers.

Fairspear Hill Farm - these free-range Norfolk Bronze turkeys are produced the other side of the Evenlode Valley.

Paddock Farm - these Tamworth Pigs graze herbal leys every 48 hours which has reduced their need for compound feed by 50%.

FarmED - the apples in the crumble come from our heritage orchard.

If the weather is too bad for the walk to go ahead, we will offer the option to re-arrange for another date or issue a full refund.

We like to take photos and occasionally videos of our events to use on our website and social media, please let us know if you do not want to be photographed.
