At FarmED, we recognise the uncertainty surrounding the ongoing coronavirus situation and wanted to reassure anyone planning a visit or an event that we have flexible cancellation terms. Please feel free to get in touch with us should you have any worries or queries.
Standard Cancellation Terms
Our standard cancellation terms will apply to all venue bookings unless extreme circumstance prevail.
- If you cancel 60 days or more prior to the event - loss of 50% of deposit. No other fees due.
- If you cancel between 59 - 14 days prior to the event - loss of 100% of deposit. No other fees due.
- If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the event - 100% of the total fee will be charged (inc. deposit, venue hire charge and any food/beverage/other direct costs already incurred by us).
Extreme Circumstances Cancellation Terms
Extreme circumstances include impersonal events such as war, civil insurrection, strikes, epidemic disease or illness (including coronavirus), travel restrictions, volcanoes, extreme weather, earthquake or natural disaster that makes it dangerous or impossible to safely run the event.
- If you cancel 14 days or more before the start of the event - 100% of the deposit will be refunded. No other fees due.
- If you cancel between 13 and 7 days before the start of the event - loss of 10% of deposit and any food/beverage/other direct costs already incurred by us. No other fees due.
- If you cancel less than 7 days before the start of the event - loss of 20% of deposit and any food/beverage/other direct costs already incurred by us. No other fees due.
In the event of a late cancellation, we will always endeavour to re-let the venue and minimise food/beverage spend. If this is possible, a larger refund will be offered.
If you are organising a large or high risk event we recommend you take out suitable event insurance.
We will always offer the option to reschedule for a later date if necessary at a discounted rate (normal rate minus any deposits or charges already incurred).
