About the Event

Farming  is hugely diverse and can offer young people fulfilling and exciting career opportunities. In some cases it can also turn you into a bit of a celebrity with close to a million Instagram followers! At least that's where farming seems to have taken  Kaleb Cooper, a local to the Oxfordshire area who in their early teens  decided to enter the world of farming with a few egg-laying hens.

A few years later, Kaleb had his own tractor and before he had left school was making a living working on farms across the local area. Now, in his  early twenties, Kaleb runs a successful  business farming land for a number of clients, not to mention Jeremy Clarkson! Yes that's right, we're talking about Kaleb from the Amazon Prime Video series 'Clarkson's Farm'.

The  British farming sector has many inspiring young people working across  the country, but we need more! As a young entrepreneur this is something  Kaleb is passionate about:

“I absolutely love speaking to young people wanting to get into farming. The majority of them are where I was when I was younger, I see their passion and drive but if they’re not from a farming family, they’re unsure how to get into the industry. I cannot wait to share some of my experiences and celebrate the next generation of farmers at this event!”

So if you'd like to learn more about farming and how to get started as a young person, join us for an Evening with Kaleb Cooper. We'll spend some time in conversation with Kaleb before opening up space for you to ask your questions about farming, fame and the future of young people in agriculture.
