About the Event

Storytelling with Ashley Ramsden

Join us at FarmED for an inspiring morning with Ashley Ramsden, the founding director of the School of Storytelling, the longest established centre of its kind in the UK.

For over three decades he has toured the world with his storytelling performances. For us he will be bringing Jean Giono's much beloved parable of our time 'The Man who Planted Hope'.

Ticket prices: £6 to include a cup of tea/coffee & cake on arrival.

“The Man who Planted Hope” by Jean Giono - A story for our time narrated by Ashley Ramsden.

This 20th century parable portrays how the work of one man can transform a barren wasteland into a life-giving "green" environment for generations to come.

About Ashley Ramsden

Ashley has toured with his remarkable storytelling programmes on all five continents, has appeared at major storytelling festivals in the UK, South Africa, Scandinavia and America.

He is as much at home telling in the Sydney Opera House or alongside the London Symphony Orchestra as he is in your front room. Ashley’s unique methods of teaching voice and the skills of the storyteller have received international acclaim.
