Join us on another installment of our Lunchtime Talk series, this time Sophie Gregory, an organic dairy farmer and Nuffield Scholar will be talking to us all about her farming story and her latest project, a Nuffield Scholarship. Sophie's research has taken her on a global exploration of organic farming. Hear about her journey so far and how she's digging into the evolving challenges and opportunities within the organic sector, focusing on sustainability, policy support, and market dynamics. 

In this Lunchtime Talk, Sophie will be diving into the relevance of organic methods in feeding a growing population and the potential need for rebranding within the dairy industry. Followed by a chance for you to ask your own questions, and enjoy a delicious FarmED lunch. 

About the speaker:

Sophie Gregory, with a background in accounting, transitioned to farming and now uses her platform to advocate for organic practices and career opportunities in agriculture. Her insights aim to inspire and inform those interested in the future of organic farming. 

Please arrive at 11:45 am. The talk will start at midday, and lunch will be served at 1:00 pm.

After the talk, you will get a freshly prepared, nutritious lunch from the FarmED cafe where you will be able to network with other guests.
