Do you want to learn the secret to the success of a bountiful harvest of veg all year round? Join us for lunch as Dan gives his top tips and tricks on all things veg growing. From propagation to weeding and much more, you will leave with ideas on how to kick-start your growing this season. Come armed with questions for him to answer. 

About the speaker:

Dan Betterton, one of the head growers at the Kitchen Garden People,  is essentially a third-generation grower, with the passion for propagating and growing running strong through his family, having learnt from his grandparents, his parents and now through his career.  He's worked with North Aston Organics, Sandy Lane Farm, and founded Cultivate with a focus on 'local, ethical and delicious food'. Having completed a Master's in Environment and Business he wanted to become part of the sustainable farming movement closer to home with a focus on Community Supported Agriculture and set up The Kitchen Garden People along with Emma and Christine back in 2016, he's never looked back...except to say "pass me the dibber"

Please arrive at 11:45 am. The talk will start at midday, and lunch will be served at 1:00 pm. You will get to taste the fruits of Dan's labour over lunch!
