About the Event

Join Nick Patel for a walk around Honeydale farm to see what is emerging after the winter months.  Learn how to spot  migrating birds, spring insects and early wildflowers.  There are so many signs of Spring that are easy to miss when we are going about our day to day lives.  This walk allows you the time to take a step back and marvel at the wonders of the natural world.

The morning will start with a hot mug of tea or coffee and a slice of cake, then Nick will guide you on an exploratory walk and show you how to spot the signs of Spring that you might otherwise miss.   After the walk you will have the option to purchase lunch from the FarmED cafe if you wish to stay a bit longer.

About Nick Patel

Super passionate about British wildlife, Nick has worked at several reserves as a warden, helping to improve habitats, and has trained at various RSPB reserves. He is particularly passionate about wetland habitats, wildflower meadows, grasslands and how regenerative farming can help to change perceptions about what farmers can do to make space for nature.

An experienced walk leader, eco-communicator and naturalist, Nick now works independently to educate the public on conservation matters whilst showcasing some of the most amazing wildlife the UK has to offer.
