About the Event

Join us for lunch as we hear from author, Jenny Jefferies, about her new book, Islands in a Common Sea, as she shares the stories of farmers and fishermen from all over the world. She will take a deep dive into the everyday lives of 25 pioneering individuals who nurture their environment in the hopes of a regenerative future. Despite its global scale, the book is based on the author’s belief that there is more in the world that unites us than divides us, and the power of this unity in overcoming the challenges that currently face us all, from climate change to food security.

With stunning landscapes and captivating portraiture, this beautiful coffee table book offers real insight into global small-scale food production with all its challenges and opportunities.

This talk will include a presentation and a Q+A session. You will also be able to buy Islands in a Common Sea on the day and get it signed by Jenny.
