Summer Wildflowers and Insects Walk and Lunch- with Nick Patel

June is the month when our wildflower margins and meadows spring into life.  Nick Patel will be coming back to FarmED to lead a guided walk around the farm.  Come and learn about the many species of flora and fauna that call this place home.  From orchids to butterlies there will be lots to see.

The morning will start with tea, coffee and cake and an informal chat with Nick before we head out into the fields.  After the walk a seasonal lunch will be served in the FarmED cafe.  

About Nick Patel

Super passionate about British wildlife, Nick has worked at several reserves as a warden, helping to improve habitats, and has trained at various RSPB reserves. He is particularly passionate about wetland habitats, wildflower meadows, grasslands and how regenerative farming can help to change perceptions about what farmers can do to make space for nature.

An experienced walk leader, eco-communicator and naturalist, Nick now works independently to educate the public on conservation matters whilst showcasing some of the most amazing wildlife the UK has to offer.

Arrive for 10.45 for tea, coffee and cake

Farm walk 11.00

Lunch 13.00

If the weather is unfavourable, Nick will start the morning with a presentation inside.
