About the Event
The fermentation of foods achieves two big goals: improving human health and contributing to a sustainable planet. Oh, and it tastes amazing too!Â
Join our interactive afternoon lead by the Wild Fermentary Workshops to learn all about the importance of gut health and why fermented foods are so beneficial.Â
Get hands on in making your own sauerkraut and pickle using seasonal vegetables grown here on the farm, and see how easily food can be preserved to optimise our resources and minimise wastage.Â
You will be treated to a lunch cooked from FarmEd and local produce, showcasing some fermented foods too.Â
Not only do you get to take away all the delicious jars you make on the day, you will also leave with the practical skills and the starter cultures to produce more simple ferments at home.Â
