About The Event

We have come to a sad decision as a team. We feel we must postpone ORFC in the Field @ FarmED on June 30th/1st July.

We cannot find a way around social distancing and masks. We would have to serve food and drink at tables and stop people mixing. Congregating for a sing and a dance is not encouraged. If it rains we cannot get everyone inside safely. There are grey areas which we have considered but we have a moral duty to our guests and speakers at a time when cases are rising. The event is also high profile, we had a Minister coming, and we will be scrutinised.  An ORFC without social gathering, cider and celebration is not an ORFC!

But all is not lost!  We will work to find a suitable date for later in the summer and try again.  Let’s make it an even bigger celebration?

Please bear with us – we have a great programme lined up and we will do this! We will be in touch again soon with new dates.

We will roll over all tickets but if you would rather receive a refund then please do let us know.

So sorry for any inconvenience.

The FarmED and ORFC Team

Building on the sessions from this years Oxford Real Farming Conference, this inaugural event will dive deeper into the practical application of agroecology and regenerative agricultural techniques.

The two day programme will be hosted by FarmED at its beautiful new site in the Cotswolds and curated by leading practitioners.

Participants will be able to choose from a number of field-based workshops including beekeeping, building and monitoring soil health,  agroforestry design, growing, harvesting and utilising heritage grains and creating and running a CSA.

A full programme will be available shortly.
