The sun shone and the lights twinkled for our first FarmED Festive Feast, last Saturday. The thirty socially distanced guests came from all walks of life. There were farmers, growers, agronomists and local people, all united in a desire to find out more about regenerative agriculture and sustainable food. After a farm walk with Founder, Ian, and Head of Regen Ag, Jonty, who also gave a presentation to introduce FarmED and our mission here, they enjoyed a three course feast prepared by our new Food Coordinator Alexis - seasonal and sustainable food that’s nutritious and delicious.
The event sold out within a couple of days, so we arranged a second event which took place today, when we welcomed another group to walk, talk and share good food grown well.
The Feasts are a ‘Nibble’ from our FarmED Programme in Regenerative Agriculture and Sustainable Food Systems. Lots more to come in 2021!
