FarmED Webinars and a Summer of Face to Face Learning

Updated: Feb 26, 2021

We prefer face to face experiential learning at FarmED but through lockdown the team have been busy reaching out via webinars and the ubiquitous Zoom!

Last week our Head of Regenerative Agriculture, Jonty Brunyee, delivered a well received webinar presentation and Q&A for the Chilterns AONB and members of their Farmer Cluster Group. Over 250 farmers and land managers from the region and across the UK joined in and discussed the principles of regenerative farming and a diverse business approach. Twenty free places for a follow up visit and farm walk at FarmED were drawn after the event. This session is now available on YouTube at:

Next Thursday morning Jonty will tell his story as the guest on the excellent Land Management 2.0 ‘Interview With’ series. Tune in after breakfast and hear more about FarmED's role in transitioning rural land management in the UK and explore how regenerative agricultural principles can shape resilient, profitable businesses. Jonty will be sharing insights from his own farm's experience. Sign up here:

Next week Founder, Ian Wilkinson, will also be speaking about herbal leys at the British Grassland Society's Research Conference.

Would you like a member of our team to speak to your community or farmer group? Please drop us a line.

It looks like we will be able to host knowledge exchange events and formal programme modules at FarmED again by May. Distanced farm walks can begin in April. We are currently refining our events calendar and will post more details very soon - let’s keep everything crossed! Our first modules will focus on sustainable farming and food, regenerative agriculture and holistic management. Inspiring and informative days focusing on herbal leys and agroforestry are also being planned. Keep an eye on our events page and book here:
