The First Farm & Food LitFest

Huge thanks to all the authors, speakers, facilitators and guests who came along to the inaugural Farm & Food Literature Festival at FarmED yesterday and made it such a great experience for everyone.

We kicked off with a panel debate about how farming and food can save the planet, then talked about everything from the relationship crisis between town and country to rebugging and designing regenerative food systems. We heard about the world's rarest foods and the last forest, small farm futures and the Great Rethink. There were personal stories of life, land and farming revolutions and panel conversations on the concepts of land justice.

The event was sold out, with a crowd of over 100 so we are already looking forward to hosting another literature festival next year.

Thanks to our partners Chelsea Green Books, Jaffe & Neale bookshop and sponsorship from Earthwatch.
