About the Event

The course will be led by Liz Genever and the FarmED team and will include:

  • Technical guidance on rotations and infrastructure
  • Case studies and examples
  • Practical farm walk
  • What to drill? And how to use permanent pasture
  • Fencing and infrastructure options (including costs)
  • How to plan a system and what to think about?

By the end of the day you will have started to develop a plan to suit your particular system.

About the Trainer, Liz Genever

Independent sheep and beef consultant with an interest in grass and forage management, coaching, knowledge exchange and research. Liz loves working with progressive farmers who want to challenge their sheep and beef systems - particularly if introducing livestock into an arable business. She has a technical background in sheep and beef fertility and breeding, and grass and forage management.

This course is designed for farmers, land owners, land managers, graziers, advisors and students.

Tickets include refreshments and a seasonal lunch from the FarmED Kitchen.
