Agroforestry Farm Walk

As part of the Agroforestry Open Weekend 2024, we are running a taster event to show the benefits and challenges of agroforestry and what we are doing at FarmED.

Have you always wondered what agroforestry is?  Are you interested in planting trees AND growing food? What are the benefits and key considerations? Is it a financially viable option? Where might you find funding and support?

Join us for a brief taster into the world of agroforestry.  We will start with a hot drink and some cake before an introduction to the farm.  The farm walk will be around the agroforestry here at FarmED including our silvopasture, silvoarable, market garden, orchard and shelter belt systems. You will leave with a better understanding of your agroforestry options and next steps.

If cost is a barrier to you attending, then please do ask us for financial support. The FarmED Bursary offers free or subsidised places to those that will benefit most.
